Sending a notice
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and respond to notices that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Email [email protected] with the subject “DMCA notice”. A valid notice includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature, and your contact details.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The exact URL on this site where the material appears, so it can be located.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
What happens next
Valid notices are acted on promptly — normally the material is removed, or the page is taken down while we investigate. We keep a record of notices received and of what was removed.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, the material and its previous location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that its removal was the result of a mistake or misidentification.
Repeat infringers
Content sources that are the subject of repeated valid notices are dropped from the site.
